The Human Rights Centre of the University of Padua and the International Alliance of Inhabitants (IAI) organized the Zero Evictions Marathon (ZEM),and event that HIC-HLRN joined with the intervention from its Coordinator, Joseph Schechla.
This online and in person gathering has been the first international “marathon” of testimonies, debates, studies and art against forced evictions. The event took place on 11 October 2024, from 9 in the morning until the evening, and featured testimonies, lectures and performances between other, with live or pre-recorded intervention from organisations, communities and individuals from worldwide.
