The Development Planning Unit (DPU), Habitat International Coalition (HIC), and the Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C) invite you to save the date for the second session of the European knowledge exchange series [Re]claiming Co-Produced Housing Dialogues.
This dialogue series brings together social movements, civil society organisations, researchers, and local governments from Europe and beyond to exchange experiences, strengthen practice, and connect grassroots knowledge with policy debates at a critical moment for housing and climate justice in Europe.

Title: Advancing housing and climate justice through co-production: retrofitting, just transition, and the environmental impact of demolitions

Focus of the session
This session will showcase socially just retrofitting and urban renovation projects that are co-produced with tenants and residents, while critically examining the environmental and climate impacts of demolition versus rehabilitation.
The dialogue will explore how co-production can support a just transition, reduce environmental harm, and advance housing justice, particularly for communities most affected by climate change and housing precarity.
