Launch of the HIC Cross-Regional Working Groups on Land Rights and Feminist Approaches to Habitat

HIC

Do you want to link your local work to regional and cross-regional learning and advocacy?

You are invited to join  HIC’s cross-regional working group on Land Rights and/or  Feminist Approaches to Habitat!

If yes, please click on the links below (choose your preferred language) and register your contact details on the google form. We will soon follow up with details for the first meeting.

The cross-regional working groups are a continuation of the learning for advocacy that took place during the 2022 Co-Learning Spaces on the same topics. They offer a focussed space in which HIC members will engage in cross-regional learning and strategising for advocacy in relation to HIC’s four strategic pillars which include Housing and Land Rights, Social Production of Habitat, Habitat and Gender.

The cross-regional working groups are open to all interested HIC Member organizations and Allies, and will be convened online with interpretation and administratively supported by a HIC staff member, with further strategic and technical support from HIC Coordinators and Board Members. Members of the working groups will jointly develop a work plan of activities based on existing regional learning opportunities and advocacy processes that take into consideration and further shape HIC’s global advocacy strategy in relation to the specific strategic pillar of the working group.

Please see the attached HIC Working Group guide for more information.
