Start Date: Mid-October or 1 November 2025
Workload: Part-time (50%–75%)
Location: Remote

We are looking for a committed and passionate individual to coordinate and lead HIC’s cross-regional advocacy strategy, working on the promotion and defense of habitat-related human rights, including:

  • The right to adequate housing
  • Land rights
  • Gender justice
  • Environmental justice

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in advocacy, social justice, human rights, or urban and habitat issues who are looking to make a global impact through a dynamic, remote, and multicultural work environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead advocacy strategies that influence policy at multiple levels of governance
  • Coordinate cross-regional efforts with civil society movements and networks
  • Elevate issues of housing, land, gender, and environmental justice
  • Work with a diverse international team across 3 continents
  • Occasionally travel to key events and meetings

Requirements:

Interested candidates should have experience in advocacy, a solid understanding of human rights related to habitat, and the ability to work in multicultural, multilingual teams.
