Training at the Forum
You can now register for one of the 24 training events at the World Urban Forum. The training covers climate change, renewable energy, governance and gender, urban planning, urban safety, housing rights and a wide spectrum of other topics. The training sessions are conducted by a wide variety of organizations including professional and training institutions, local government associations, NGOs and United Nations agencies. Register now
World Urban Youth Forum
The World Urban Youth Forum 2008 will be held 1-2 November on the eve of the Forum. It is designed to enable young people to contribute more meaningfully at the main forum events. In addition to the dialogues, exhibitions, and networking and training, the Youth Forum will also feature a global music concert.
