Dajopen waste management

Kitale Town is between two water towers in Trans- Nzoia County, namely Cherangany in the East and Mt.Elgon in the West. Therefore Dajopen waste management community based organization, after seeing how people are struggling, because of the diseases, which are caused by poor sanitation, we came up with this idea to bring sanity, within the informal settlements. The best we could was to make sure that , there is a revenue which the community get after selling the recycled products, thus improving our lot in the society, while eradicating malaria, cholera and rabies, which are caused by the mosquitoes, flies and rodents,  the garbage heaps and hills are the breeding zones. This activity has improved and given the citizens the right to clean environment, the right to clean and good health and the right to clean and affordable habitation.
