Habitat International Coalition launches the election , as the mandate of our current representative for MENA, M. Khalid Khawaldeh (Dana and Qadisiyah Local Community Cooperative), Jordan, is now coming to its end.
The election process for MENA representative at HIC Board will be coordinated by an Electoral Committee composed of three Members from the region, volunteering for this task. The Committee will receive the full support from Ahmed Mansour (HIC Cairo office) and Marie (Membership Coordinator).
Requirements:
- To be an active Member of HIC in MENA region;
- Three persons at least from different organizations, with gender and geographic balance;
- Availability to work 2 hours per week, for 3 months;
- Read and write in Arabic and English (or French);
Note: The Members of the Electoral Committee cannot nominate Candidates or run for the elected position.
