Amplifying feminist movements’ resistance and care-centered initiatives in the fight for habitat-related human rights

Join us to spread the word

Human rights are under siege worldwide—threatened by authoritarianism, conflict, and regressive policies.

Now more than ever, we must act! Join HIC and its Members in exposing these injustices and defending our rights through care, feminism, and global solidarity. ✊💜

In many regions, we are witnessing a growing wave of policies that directly threaten habitat-related human rights and those struggling to protect such rights, including movements of feminism and diversity.

Now more than ever, HIC and its Members stand together to expose these injustices and emphasize the power of care, feminism, collective action and global solidarity in defending our human rights.

This International Women’s Day and throughout the month of March we amplify feminist resistance and underscore the role of care in rebuilding and protecting fair territories.

Feminist resistance relies on mutual care and solidarity!

Feminist movements are leading resistance efforts by centering care —building alternatives and defending human rights related to habitat.

What do we mean by Care?

Care encompasses the essential tasks that sustain life: looking after people, ensuring food security, well-being, and the development of our communities. Historically, these responsibilities have fallen disproportionately on women, without recognition or equitable distribution.

A collective and political responsibility that has everything to do with housing and land rights

Join Us in Strengthening Global Solidarity and Collective Action

Feminist resistance is built on mutual care and solidarity. By centering care, feminist movements are not only leading the fight against oppression but also building just alternatives and defending habitat-related human rights.
