The Asia Habitat Dialogues seeks to cultivate a network among diverse organisations in Asia and to map trends and priorities in sustainable development and livable territories in the region. The dialogues aim to foster deeper collaborations and discussions, to develop shared priorities that can eventually become the foundation for a regional manifesto and advocacy plan addressing habitat-related rights, including the right to adequate housing, land, water, and sanitation, and their intersection with the environment and climate justice. As we navigate the complexities of urban and regional development, it becomes pivotal for us to come together, share insights, and collaboratively pave the way for livable territories in Asia.
As part of our broader engagement in promoting sustainable habitats, our focus is on understanding the intricacies of development and livable territories within the unique socio-political and economic context of Asia.
